HIFU Facelift

What’s Hifu?

About the procedure: HIFU stands for High-Intensity Focus Ultrasound. It’s a non-surgical treatment that uses focused ultrasound technology to tighten and lift facial and body skin. It affects 3 different layers of the superficial and dermis along with SMAS, which is the same layer of the tissue that surgeons pull tight in a facelift. As thermal energy safely heats this tissue, it contracts resulting in tightening of the skin and formation of new collagen, which provides a long-term tightening effect. The benefits include wrinkle reduction, skin lifting, tightening, smoothing, improves sagging and other signs of the aging phenomenon. It's suitable for the face, neck, and body. Results will be seen over the course of 8-12 weeks. For maximum results, Radio frequency microneedling is recommended 4 weeks post HIFU.

As stated above, the purpose of this procedure is to tighten sagging skin in the areas indicated above. The procedure requires more than one treatment and may produce some reduction in the appearance of sagging skin and/or wrinkles. The total number of treatments and clinical results may vary between individuals. Most patients require a number of treatments over several months with gradual results occurring over this time. On occasion, there are patients that do not respond to treatments and so the outcome cannot be guaranteed.

Lack of results:  I understand it may take multiple treatments to obtain optimal results.I understand I may not experience complete clearance, and that it may take multiple treatments.

Pain: You may experience slight burning, scratchiness, tingling or irritation of the skin. These sensations are usually temporary and typically subside within a few hours after treatment.  Numbing cream can be added to your service for a fee for comfortability. A sudden reappearance of redness or pain is a sign of infection.

Redness/Swelling/Bruising/Scabbing: After the procedure, your skin may be red, with mild swelling and/or bruising, and it might feel tight and sensitive to the touch. This is a normal part of the healing process. If you experience persistent redness or swelling, please contact our office. Itching is also normal as the skin begins to peel. To aid in healing and recovery, we recommend using Lux MD Medical Repair Cream, which can be purchased from Foreverbyash at the time of service for $40.

Must be 18 years or older to receive service.
