Skin Sheek Clear

What’s Skinsheek Clear?

Clear by Skin SheekTM is a non-invasive treatment that uses a high frequency device utilizing direct high frequency to enable quick, precise treatments of minor skin irregularities. Radio frequency or high frequency produces heat at the probe which causes tissue to coagulate and discontinue blood flow and nutrition to the irregularity. Clear by Skin SheekTM works on the principle of attracting liquids through the application of heat. Special probes regulate the application of high frequency/radio waves directly on the skin’s surface. This technology enables qualified professionals to treat minor skin irregularities without penetrating the surface of the skin. Typically, 1-2 treatments are necessary, however results may vary. Treatments take only a few seconds. Results are instantaneous for many conditions including capillaries and cherry angiomas. Other conditions will scab and heal, and results will be complete within 1-2 weeks.

LUX MD MEDICAL REPAIR CREAM IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR PROPER HEALING AND RECOVERY. THIS CAN BE PURCHASED ON THE DAY OF APPOINTMENT ($40). AVOID DIRECT SUN EXPOSURE FOR TWO WEEKS AFTER THE TREATMENT, AND APPLY SPF AND LUX MD DAILY TO AVOID SCARRING AND PIGMENT CHANGES.

Lack of results:  I understand it may take multiple treatments to obtain optimal results. I understand I may not experience complete clearance, and that it may take multiple treatments. It is important that your expectations be realistic and understand the procedure has its limitations. Additional procedures may be necessary to achieve desired effect. Additional procedures may be necessary to achieve desired effect.

Pain: You may experience slight burning, scratchiness, tingling or irritation of the skin. These sensations are usually temporary and typically subside within a few hours after treatment.  A sudden reappearance of redness or pain is a sign of infection.

Picking: Avoid picking at the skin during the healing period, as this can lead to hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation.

Pigment/Color Change/Sun Exposure: During the healing process, the treated area may become lighter (hypopigmentation) or darker (hyperpigmentation) compared to the surrounding skin. While this is usually temporary it’s very important to follow the proper aftercare instructions.

Redness/Swelling/Bruising/Scabbing: After the procedure, your skin may be red, with mild swelling and/or bruising, and it might feel tight and sensitive to the touch. This is a normal part of the healing process. If you experience persistent redness or swelling, please contact our office.
